General Information
Unit Specifics:
•Number of Beds : 16
•Patient Ratios : 2:1, at times 3:1
•Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : MT, at times a tech is staffed depending on census
•Type of equipment : Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring
•Documentation system: Meditech
•Scheduling requirements: 36 hours weekly
•Floating policy: Float in rotation with core staffing
•Patient Experience requirements:
Hospital Specifics-
•Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: Critical thinking, self-motivated
Advanced skills needed:
Procedures performed on unit:
Central line insertions, dialysis catheter insertions
